Happy World Book Day!!!!

5th Mar 2026

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day in our school this year! The corridors were full of colour and creativity as children and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters. From classic storybook heroes to modern favourites, it was wonderful to see so many imaginative costumes on display.

This year, our staff had a special theme – “Where’s Wally?” You may have spotted lots of red and white stripes around the school! However, there was a twist… while many of the staff dressed up like Wally, only one person was the real “Where’s Wally.”

The challenge for the children was to look closely and guess which staff member was the real Wally hiding among the crowd. There were lots of guesses, plenty of laughs, and great excitement throughout the day as everyone tried to solve the mystery.

To find out who the real Where’s Wally was, check out the video below where we reveal the answer!

World Book Day is always a highlight of the school year, and it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, celebrating reading, and having so much fun together.

Well done to everyone for making it such a brilliant day!
