It has been a busy and exciting time for our school soccer teams as they took part in their first matches of the season.
Our girls’ team recently played their first 11-a-side game. Although the result did not go our way on the day, the team showed fantastic effort, determination and team spirit from start to finish. They worked hard for each other, supported their teammates, and represented the school with great pride. It was a great learning experience and a strong start to the season.
We also took part in a 5-a-side soccer blitz, where our girls’ team put in an amazing performance. Despite the weather being very challenging, with rain falling for most of the day, the girls kept their spirits high and played some brilliant football. Their hard work and teamwork paid off as they reached the semi-final of the competition – a fantastic achievement!
Well done to all of our players for their great attitude, teamwork and effort. We are very proud of you and look forward to many more matches this season!
